Christmas Eve

I got everything ready for Santa on Christmas Eve.  I put out some seeds in a bowl on the balcony for his reindeer.  For Santa, I put out the cookies I made on my new Christmas tree plate, and thought he might like to drink his milk out of our Chewbacca mug.

He must have liked it, because we all got cool stuff in our stockings!  Tommy got a hidden pictures book...

Some chocolates...

And some more trains.

I got chocolates too, a make-your-own-tiara kit, and a My Little Pony!

And Daddy got Twizzlers, his favorite!

I also had a note from Santa in my stocking.  I read it, and it told me to look upstairs "in the Star Wars room".  I got there and there was a something covered with a big sheet with a bow on top.  I took off the sheet and found this awesome dollhouse!  So cool!

After all that excitement we had some good snuggle time with Grandma watching videos on her computer.  Yay for Santa!

Tommy is Two!

Tommy is now a 2 year old boy!  He's still a happy little man...

Who occasionally has ridiculous bed-head...

Loves chasing Dexter...

And loves trains.  Here he is playing with the Cranky the Crane (from Thomas the Train) that Grandma and Grandpa gave for his birthday.  You should have seen the look of pure joy on his face when he opened it!

He also got this cool marble run from Mom and Dad.  Mom may like it the most though, she was a little too excited to build it.

I was a little excited about it too.

After opening presents, the boys watched some truck videos...

Then it was time for cake! Tommy insisted that Cranky get cake too.  Part of him is now permanently colored by green frosting.

Green teeth...

Green tongues...

And green hands and faces.

Crazy Christmas Lights

We went to see a neighborhood in Fountain Valley with some CRAZY Christmas lights.  Check out this house!

I sat on the curb and watched the show.

This house with the pretend snow was pretty fun too.

Don't worry, I'm not really choking Tommy.

I'm just making sure he doesn't destroy the lights!

2012 Holiday Card

You've probably received our holiday card by now, but if not, here are some of the pictures from it.  A nice group shot...

One of sibling rivalry, supervised by reindeer Chewy...

And fun with Santa hats.

Happy's Last Night

I knew Happy my elf would do something special for his last night here!  He left me notes to read for a treasure hunt, and I finally found him in Chewy's bed!  What a sweet elf.

Making Cookies for Santa

Mommy and I made cookies for Santa yesterday.  I made almost all of them myself.  I rolled out the dough...

And only got a little flour on me.

I used the cookie cutters and peeled out the shapes...

Then Mom frosted them and I decorated them with sprinkles.  Pretty!

But more importantly, YUMMY!

Preschool/Kindergarten Holiday Program

We had our holiday program today at school.  Here I am with my good friend Camryn before we started singing.

I was so excited to have Mommy there...

And Daddy...

And Tommy too!
Here we are singing "Feliz Navidad", "Mele Kalikimaka" and "The Dreidel Song" (Beware: Mom says it may only be riveting to members of my immediate family):

After the applause died down we all had some lunch.  Tommy got to sit with me and the rest of the big kids.

He tried to act like a big kid and have good manners, but I told him he didn't have to eat his sandwich bun with a fork.

More Elf on the Shelf

My Elf, Happy, has been very busy lately.  I'm told she flies to the North Pole every night to tell Santa what we've been up to, but when she gets back, she's always hiding somewhere different.  Yesterday morning I found her holding my camera, and here are the pictures I found on it!  So sneaky!

The next day I rescued her from being eaten by the rancor monster.

C'mon, Sister!

I love playing with Tommy, but lately it's been more fun to mess with him.  He wanted me to go up to the Star Wars room to play with him, but I made him work for it.

Cookie Exchange Party

Last weekend we had a cookie exchange for the holidays with some of Mommy and my friends.  Here are Karen, Vicky, Helen, and Mommy.

And here are Isabella, Lily, Evan, and I decorating a gingerbread house and gingerbread cookies!

Ilana did some great decorating too.

Tommy chose to be anti-social and hang out in Evan's room, which is his version of car and truck heaven.

Then we played pin the carrot nose on the snowman...

And I won!

Daddy even tried to play, but I beat him too.  Mom told him he was naughty for putting the carrot in a non-PG place on the snowman, but she did laugh.

Then we did some car racing...

And Tommy tried out Lily's big girl bed.  Fun for all!
