Turkey Day

Nana, Uncle Stuart, and cousin Kyle came over for Thanksgiving.  We had lots of fun stuff to be thankful for, like Dad's remote control helicopter...

  Snuggling....
 Cousins...
 And holiday crafts.

But mostly food and family!

Dad was thankful that he got to bust out his colonial hat to carve the turkey.

Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!

Puzzling Excitement

Tommy is VERY excited about doing more challenging puzzles lately.  Here he is working on my Dinosaur Train one with Dad.

It Has Been Prophesied

It is written in the stars, as you can see by the title of my newest work of art.

Fingerpainting: Take 2

We thought we'd try fingerpainting again.  I still love it...

And now Tommy does too!

Look closely and you'll see that the paint is all down his hands, and even a little around his mouth.  He decided it was fun, but tasted bad.

I decided to embrace some of Tommy's mess-making skills.  Fun!

Fun with Cousin Kyle

Cousin Kyle came to play with us last weekend.  He and Tommy had lots of fun playing trucks together...

And we all had fun swinging...

And climbing on the playset.

After all that running around, we needed a little down time, so we plugged in to the iPad and taught Kyle how to play some apps.

And had some good cousin snuggle time.

Thomas the Train

Tommy's friend, Harper, has a ride-on Thomas the Train at his house.  We thought Tommy would LOVE it, but turns out he doesn't like to sit still for that long, and we could barely get a picture of him on it.

But I rode it a lot.  We liked it so much that we didn't even want to get off it or leave the room it was in to eat lunch.  Mom had a solution for that...

Kara's Birthday Party

We had a great time at Kara's birthday party.  Here are Miles and I scoping out the competition for the "Pin the Tail on the Octonaut" game (I won!)...

And Tommy and I both loved hanging out in Kara's playhouse.

But we all loved the bounce house the most.

It was tough to tear Tommy out of there.

Here he is bouncing by himself.  He can't be stopped!

Getting Dirty is Almost as Fun as Getting Clean

Ready for My Solo

Grandma got to come watch my dance class at Little Gym while she was here.  She said I was a really good listener...

She got to see my tap and ballet dancing, and got to see my solo performance in ballet.  Everyone did one, but Mom said mine was extra cute.  You can't hear it, because Mom was recording from outside the door, but imagine it to C+C Music Factory's "Everybody Dance Now".

I'm also still working on my gymnastics.

Broadway, here I come!

Little Gym Halloween Party

Last Halloween post, I swear!  We had a Halloween party at the Little Gym, too.

Tommy and I both LOVE bouncing on the air track.

Here I am hanging out with my friend Yoyo...

And bouncing with Isabella and her friend, Kate.

Monkeys on the bars!

And goofball on the air track.

I caught a prize in a fishing game...

Tommy practiced his balance beam skills...

And we both ran around like maniacs...

Until we were spent.  We love the Little Gym!

Election Day

Tommy and I got to go vote with Mommy today, and since Daddy voted by mail and we dropped off his ballot, I got his sticker.  Yay!

Halloween Party at Isabella's

Isabella had a Halloween party at her house.  We made Halloween masks...

Hunted for tissue paper ghosts in the backyard...

And wrapped each other up like mummies!  I was the winner.

Then we played "Pin the Tail on the Black Cat".  Tommy wasn't up for being blindfolded, but he still wanted to play.

I waited for my turn to wear the spooky blindfold...

And did a pretty good job, but you can't win 'em all.

Sir Evan the knight and I checked out the Halloween lights...

Then we played "Pass the Pumpkin"...

And posed for some pictures.  From left to right, that's Ilana (as Ariel), Lily (a fairy), Me (Jessie), Isabella (Merida from "Brave"), Evan (a knight), and Isabell (Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz").
