A Roller Coaster of Emotions

We had to wait in line for The Dragon roller coaster for awhile.  Mom asked me if I was excited, so I decided to show her my whole range of emotions on the matter.  

I'm a little scared...

A little worried I might get sick...

A little sad....

Impatient and pouty...






And VERY excited!

Miles and I also had lots of giggles pretending we were back in our mommies' bellies.

After a brief conference, Miles and I decided we were ready.  And guess what?  I LOVED IT!

Exploring Legoland

There was A LOT of stuff to do there. I tried to take charge, but it was a little overwhelming...

Good thing Miles stepped in to steer me straight...

Literally!  Check me out, my first time behind the wheel!  It's only a Lego car, but still!  It took me a little time to get the hang of it, as you can see in the video, but it was so fun!  You can also see some other footage of us goofing around, and of the back of Tommy's head as he rides in the front of the airplane ride.  Tower, this is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby!

It's a good thing Miles knew where to find the ice cream too!





We needed to get our energy up (yeah, right) for the BIG roller coasters!

Legoland!

We had our first trip to Legoland last weekend with some seasoned veterans, Auntie Kristine and Miles!

Here we are on the Fairy Tale Brook boat ride.  

Dad was the chaperone for Miles and me...

Since Auntie Kristine and Mommy (and probably Tommy) kept joking that it was our first date.

Come to think of it, he did sort of put his arm around me. 

Kristine, Mom, and Tommy loved that.  Dad says I'm not allowed to date. Ever. 

Earth Day Fashion

We celebrated Earth Day all week at school, and on Friday I wanted to wear my "Be Green, Not Mean" shirt.  I also felt that mouse ears were the perfect accessory to pull the whole outfit together.  Ready for school!

Playwerx

 We met Robby and Lizzy for some big climbing and sliding fun at Playwerx yesterday.

After all this silliness, Tommy was getting pretty tired.  

So we attempted to pose for a group picture... 

But our silliness got the better of us, as you saw from the end of the video.   

April at the Little Gym

I've been having lots of fun in my dance and gymnastics class at the Little Gym.  Here are some recent pictures, and a quick video of me in action.  Mom has to stay outside the room when we practice, so it's even sillier without the sound. 

Waxing (or Waning) Poetic

Mom says I'm kind of a know-it-all.  Here's a sample conversation from last night:
Dad: Wow, look at the moon tonight!
Kate: Dad, it's just gibbous.  It's not a full moon.

I can't help it that I'm always right.  

Good Playmates

Tommy and I have been having a lot of fun together lately.  In addition to making racetracks with sidewalk chalk in the backyard...

We've also played Octonauts (these are our helmets so we can breathe underwater).

We let Dad play too.  

Then Mom saw us playing a game called "Fairies and the Sleeping Bear" in the living room.

Mom was surprised that Teddy wasn't part of the underwater Octonauts adventure since he only has flippers instead of arms these days.  We have lots of fun together.

We also like to crack each other up in the car.  Here's Tommy sucking on his toes to make me squeal with disgust and delight.

We even like to watch the same videos on the computer, all snuggled together.  I guess I like having a brother.  And I think Tommy likes having a sister, because he hugs me almost every time he sees me.  

Good Rancor Keeping

Tommy knows how important it is to keep your rancor monster clean.  

Make sure you wash between its claws...

But be careful!  It bites when you least expect it!

Math is Fun!

Mom's been helping me practice my math.  I think it's fun, but messing with her might be even more fun.
