Little Gym Halloween Party

We went to another fun Halloween party at the Little Gym.  Superman (aka Cousin Kyle) came with us too!

Mommy tested out her strawberry wig...

And Tommy had fun jumping out of this box and scaring unsuspecting princesses...

And we both had fun doing all the silly things at the Little Gym.

Tommy won scary vampire fangs...

and I won some awesome pink ones.

I also got hugs from my favorite teacher, Miss Kristina.

Then we all sang the goodbye song, while Tommy sat in the middle of the circle and pretended we were singing only to him.

Adventures at the Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday it was time to get some pumpkins from the pumpkin patch!

Tommy was successful in his search for a golden pumpkin...

And we were relatively successful in taking a family picture or two.

While we waited in line for the pony rides, Tommy struck up a conversation with a goose.  They talked for quite awhile before Mom recorded some of it.

After some time, Tommy said, "Hi Goose. Can I talk to the chicken?"  He's so good at making new friends.

It was Tommy's first time riding a horse.  His horse was named Spicy...

And mine was Sasquatch.

So fun!

We also rode some of the rides...

Here's some live footage:

We each got our own pumpkin...

And can't wait to carve them!

My Halloween Party

I was so excited to make something fun for my Halloween party last weekend!  Here I am dipping marshmallows in dyed white chocolate...

Then seeing what strawberries taste like in it...

And then just going straight to the chocolate source.

But our little candy corn marshmallow people turned out yummy and cute!

Princess Belle (aka Isabella) was the first guest to arrive...

Then Princess Ariel (aka Ilana), with her little brother Zach the Pirate.

They liked my yummy marshmallow guys...

And had fun playing Halloween bingo and doing a fun scavenger hunt.  That's Evan the knight and Princess Cinderella (aka Lili) too.

We also got to decorate Halloween cookies.

Yummy!

We had a ton of fun, ate lots of pizza, then lots of sugar...

And then burned it all off dancing to the Monster Mash.

First Field Trip

My class took a field trip to the pumpkin patch last week.  Though I told Mom and Dad the most exciting part was riding on the bus, I also had lots of fun there.  I got to pick out my very own pumpkin, measure it, weigh it, and draw it.  I also got to pet some goats and sheep, and hold this cool goose egg!
Here's my whole class with one of my teachers, Ms. Fransz.  That's me hiding in the back on the right, peeking through.

Seacliff Harvest Festival

Our costumes were ready just in time for my school's harvest festival!  Here are Curious George and The Man with the Yellow Hat...

And I am Strawberry Shortcake.

I love my costume...

Can you tell?

Here Tommy and I are with my friends Stephanie, Kayla, and Alex from school...

And here we are jumping around excitedly, as kindergartners do.

We played some games...

Ate some spooky cupcakes...

And played some musical chairs for prizes too.  I won a big stack of board games!

Top it all off with a yummy dinner from a gourmet food truck and we were VERY happy halloweeners!

My School Kindergarten Picture

Here's my kindergaten portrait.  Mom refers to it as my "first" one, and says a retake is in my future.  Whatever.

Tommy and the Pumpkin Patch

Mommy and Tommy made a little trip to the Orange County Zoo last week.  See that brown thing in the background?

It's this bear!

Tommy had fun seeing the animals and brushing the goats, but then he caught sight of the nearby pumpkin patch...

And was done with the zoo, and on to being a robot.

Did I mention they have a train?

Who loves trains?

The Tom Tom Frog!

He also had a lot of fun in the hay maze...

And, of course, in the bouncers.

Thankfully, he didn't pick out any pumpkins without me.  I'm almost not jealous of his adventure.
