Soccer Practice

I've been having a blast at soccer practice.  That's me in the pink skirt (yup, a skirt to practice.  I told Mom it was fine) and pink knee socks, with the pink ball.  Did I mention that I like pink?  Don't worry, I'm well rounded.  My cleats are purple with butterflies on them.

Here's some video of my team in action, and Tommy practicing on the sidelines so he can play like me in a few years. Some day I'll pass on my purple cleats to him.

Bounce U with Daddy

Daddy took us to our friend Evan's birthday party at Bounce U last weekend.  I think it's safe to say we had fun...

I'm Officially 5!

The morning of my actual birthday I was up and dressed and ready to open presents!  But Dad had other plans...

Tommy helped me follow all the clues...

And I had a lot of fun doing it.

But the most fun was opening my presents!  Here's the Lego Friends cafe I got from Nana.

A little later my good friend Camryn came over to help me break in my new Lego table...

And be silly, of course.

Mom kept Tommy busy so we could have some quality girl time.  He composed some songs on the piano...

Learned how to wink...

And played Star Wars guys.  Good job keeping him occupied, Mom!

Then we let him join us as Mom threw balloons off the balcony for us to grab. Camryn got to stay for lunch and cake, too. It was a fun birthday!

Bouncy Fun

We won some free coupons for open bounce at Bounce U through our summer reading program, and decided to put them to use!

We're crazy!

Family Movie Date

We went to our very first family movie in the theater last weekend: Planes!  We did a great job, and really liked it!  As you can see, Tommy came prepared with him Dusty Crophopper plane, and I knew my new Palace Pet would like it as much as I did.  Fun!

A Lot of Kingmans in One Place!

Some of Daddy's family from Hong Kong were in town and we met them for a fun dinner.
L to R: David, Stuart, Sue, Nathan, Matt, Alice, Audrey
Front row: Tommy, Kate, Kyle

My Lego Birthday Party

I had my 5th birthday party this weekend!  I decided I wanted a Lego party, so Mom and I decorated serving plates to look like Lego minifigures...

We also had a "Create Your Own Minifigure" station...

And Mom set up an "I Spy a Lego Guy" scavenger hunt all through the house and outside.

The little guys looked like this, and were pretty sneaky!  But we still found them all with a little teamwork.

I helped Mom pick out different Lego figures to put on each person's gift bag.

I chose a construction worker for Tommy, and a punk rocker for me!

We also played Lego bingo...

And had fun goofing around together.  Here I am with Camryn, Donia, and Isabella.

The swingset was a big hit with everyone...

And the Lego relay race was chaotic but fun.

Then the real chaos began, when Mom brought out these super-squirters.
Gotcha, Dad!

I can't be stopped!

Mom told me the person who got the most wet won.  I may have been the winner, but it's a tough call.

Hazel got me!

After a wardrobe change for everyone, it was time for my Lego cake!

I blew out all 5 candles, so my wish should come true.

Yum!

Everyone was so generous with their gifts, and I had so much fun opening them...

And everyone seemed to have fun watching me.  Look at everyone gathered around!

A Lego birthday for a Lego maniac!  Check out the cool pet salon I built!
