Hanging with Famous Frank, the Water Monitor Lizard

Look at that!  It's Frank swimming a few laps!  He's a water monitor lizard, and he's on the Disney show "Jessie" as Mr. Kipling.  We love seeing him here whenever he's not on set.

He doesn't give autographs...

But he does let you pat him.
He even wrapped his tail around me like he was hugging me before we left.  Thanks, Frank!

Reptile Zoo

We took a trip to one of our favorite places, the Reptile Zoo, today.  Luckily the gator in the background was behind glass...

But this snake named Sunset wasn't.  She was super wiggly!

Tommy tried to get one of the monitor lizards to stick out its tongue...

And succeeded.

We also saw this snake get mad when one of the workers changed the water in its dish.

"Hi turtle! Hi turtle!  Hi turtle!"

We hadn't seen these walking stick insects here before...

And one of the chameleons looked extra bright and colorful.

We liked this leopard gecko...

But no one compares to our friend Charlie the crested gecko.

We missed him!

Thanks for the fun visit, Charlie!

Dentist Visits

It was dentist week for all of us.  Tommy was very good about getting some plaque scraped off his teeth, and everyone said I was a model patient.  My bottom front teeth are a little wiggly, and will probably come out in the next few months.  I'm so excited!  The dentist said I also have a chipped molar, and told me I must be very tough since I didn't even know it happened and it didn't hurt.

Here we are watching a show (in our own squirmy way) after the dentist, both of us clutching our new free electric toothbrushes.

100th Day of School

It was the 100th day of school today.  To celebrate, our teachers told us to decorate a hat with 100 different things.  Mom and I had so much fun making it!  The disco balls are my favorite part.

It was a big hit at school.

All my friends said their favorite part was the little pink Easter chicks on the top.

Grandma and Grandpa!

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit last weekend.  After jumping up and down a lot when they first got here, we took them out to dinner.

We had lots of fun hanging out with them...

And being silly with them.
But Tommy got the flu, so we didn't really go anywhere.
We just goofed around together...
Played some Monopoly...

And had a mini-birthday party for Dexter (he's 3).
I had lots of fun waking Grandma and Grandpa up every morning and reading to them.

And Tommy and I both LOVE our cool new color-changing shirts!  See, it's white when we're inside...

But look at all the colors when we go outside.  Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa!  We love you!

Snuggles

Last weekend I got in some snuggle time with Chewy...

And Tommy got some snuggle time with Nana.

Happy Valentine's Day

Tommy and I both had Valentine's Day parties at school.  Mom came to Tommy's and had brunch with him and his friends.  Here he is with his friend Gunner.

Then she watched him hand out his valentines.  He had fun!

And look at all the valentines I got.  Yay!

My friend Kayla and her mom were coming over for dinner, so we made special pink heart cakes.

We swirled together the colors...

And they turned out so cool (and yummy too).  Happy Valentine's Day!

More Birthday Parties

I had more birthday party bounce house fun at my friend Brandon's party.  They had this bounce house with platforms and a huge soft demolition ball suspended from the ceiling.  We got to knock each other off the platforms Gladiator-style.  I loved it, and was in there with all the boys the whole time.  That's me in the blue polka-dot dress.  Are you not entertained?!?!

Avery's Birthday Party

We went to Avery's birthday party last weekend and had so much fun with our friends!

Tommy and Avery did some good bouncing...

And playing together...

While the big kids did some crafts.

Tommy and Auntie Kimmy had an impromptu drum circle...

And I got to try out my stylist skills on Tommy.  Don't worry, they're toy scissors, but we didn't tell Mom that. It was fun to see the look on her face when she first walked in and saw us.
