Water Park

Did I mention our hotel also had a crazy water park?  Christa and her kiddos Brode and Jasper came to help put it to the test.

Silly faces on?  Check.

GO!

Yup, Dad liked it too.

And so did Christa and Mom.

But we liked it the most.

In fact, we liked it so much we went 2 days in a row!

Thanks for coming to play with us Auntie Christa, Jasper, and Brode!

We love you and all your fun and silliness!

I Caught a Fish THIS Big!

We went fishing off the dock at Arrowwood and had some pretty good luck!

Tommy caught 3 fish!
Mom and I only caught 1, and I refused to touch it.

But it was still a lot of fun!

Look at that one!

Look at all the scared fish in there!  Don't worry fish, we threw the ones we caught back.

Road Trip to Arrowwood

While in Minnesota, we took a quick roadtrip to the town Mom was born in, Alexandria.

We stopped by the statue of Big Ole...

And climbed around on it.

But the main reason we were there was to play at the Arrowwood resort.  Check out our cool bunk beds and makeshift breakfast table Dad made for us!

We made new friends, like this frog we found while mini-golfing.

We relaxed and did crafts in the craft room...

And we went out in a paddleboat.

Don't worry, we made Mom and Dad do all the pedaling.

We also took a pontoon cruise around the lake.

And I made friends with the girl next to me.  Then I introduced her to "my weird little brother, Tommy".

After the pontoon ride there were marshmallows to roast and s'mores to eat.  This place is great!

Play It, Grandpa!

We went to hear Grandpa play at a golf course at the lake.  While we were waiting for our dinner we did some exploring with Dad...

And took some silly pictures.

Dad's fun.

Then we got to sit right up front and hear Grandpa and his friend Barry play for everyone.

They were great!

Mom's drum teacher, Jerry, and his wife Allison came out to see us and catch up too.

While the grown-ups talked about boring things, I read to Tommy and we played with stickers on the grass.  Everyone said we were so good!

We do love each other.

After all that calm sitting, Tommy caught the dancing bug.

The next night we went out to dinner again, this time for pizza at the Hotel Shoreham.  They have a little playground down the street, so we got to play on things that we never see in California, like merry-go-rounds, see-saws, and metal slides.
It's also right next to the golf course, so we found a few souvenirs to to keep.

And the pizza was yummy!

After we went home, Mom and Dad snuck out to play with Glenda and Lyndon, her former neighbors, back at the Bridge.
