Pokemon Playdate

We met Miles and Henry for a playdate at a fun park.  










Miles is my new partner in Pokemon (move over, Mom!), and we played 2 fun games.

Tommy explored the cool park which had a pretend tide pool...

And this cool stone ball that rolled on a small pool of water.

After Pokemon the four of us ran around together pretending to be Pokemon, went on the swings, and did some crazy dancing.  Buddies for life!

Yellow Belt

I got to be the sempai (mentor or older helper) in Tommy's preschool karate class last week.  I was so excited!

I helped lead the warm-up, counting in Japanese.

Then I nailed my kata in my karate class and was promoted to full yellow belt.  So excited!  

Last Day of First Grade and La Petite Preschool

My last day of first grade, and Tommy's last day of preschool at La Petite!

We had a party in class on the last day.  We played Bingo...

And Mom came to help out... 

And goof around.

Family Fun Run

Before school got out we all participated in the family fun run.  It was an obstacle course.  That's Tommy in the red shirt...

And me mid-air in the pink shirt and cheetah head scarf.

The principal kept me company during the sack race...

And at the end there was a net you had to crawl under where they shot you with water.

I made it!

Afterward we got airbrush tattoos.  Mine was a turquoise tiger...

And Tommy's was a yellow/orange dragon.

Tommy was on his best behavior....

And so was Mommy.  Sort of.  She finished the race and went slip-n-slide style under the net with the water with her friend Rachel.  Here they are, soaking wet.

And speaking of soaking wet, here's Tommy getting squirted...

Swim Lessons June 2015

We've been having lots of fun at our swim lessons this week.  Tommy really likes his extra silly teacher, and I have been very brave.  I went off the high dive, even though half of my class decided not to!

National Donut Day

We were more than happy to celebrate National Donut Day last week. 

In fact, I think donuts make Tommy listen better, and that's why he earned his white belt, orange stripe in karate!  At least that's the angle I'm going for with Mom.

Alert the Tooth Fairy!

I was sooooo excited that my tooth came out at school!  OK, it didn't really fall out, my friend Kennedy actually helped me pull it out.  But I got to go to the nurse and get this cool little treasure chest to put it in.







It's a big one, too!  I got $1 and 4 gold chocolate coins for it.  I brought one coin to school and gave it to Kennedy.

I also wrote the tooth fairy, Brienne, this note.  I like to have all the "facts".   

Play Time

Not only did Tommy get to have Play Doh playtime with his buddy Colton... 

But we got to go play with Miles, Henry, Robby and Lizzy last weekend!

Don't worry, we crammed some serious goofiness into one day.
