Secret Santa Party

We had our annual secret santa party with Mommy's friends and their kiddos.  They always make us take a group picture...
L to R: Brenda with Isaac and Evan, Kim & Andy with Lizzy and Robby, Stacy & Peter with CJ and Kate, Kevin & Leslie (Avery in blue, Kara with pink scarf), Scott & Danielle with Luke, Jake, and Carmela, Kristine & Dustin with Miles and Henry, Daddy & Mommy with Tommy and me.
Before opening presents.  Bribery works!  We had a blast.

Christmas Day

We woke up on Christmas Day and Santa really did come!  He gave Tommy the Power Rangers Megazord he'd asked for...

And I got the Lego Friends Pop Star Tour Bus that I wanted.  Yay!!!!
I also got a Harry Potter shirt from Mom, and Tommy got a Godzilla one.
Nana and Kyle came over and we played some games, opened presents, and decorated gingerbread houses...
We also sang happy birthday to Mommy and Tommy.

Christmas Eve

Happy's last hiding place was among the Lego Christmas guys, Nutty the Nutcracker, and my new pom pom puppy creations.  They had cake to celebrate Tommy's big 5th birthday!
We made some sugar cookies from scratch.  This was the first year mom actually succeeded at it, and they even looked like Christmas shapes instead of blobs.  Way to go, Mom!
We had fun decorating them...

And eating them.
We put them on our Santa cookie plate, and put milk out in the traditional Chewbacca mug.
Star Wars jammies on, and ready for Santa!

Chewy's Early Christmas

Poor Chewy.  He tore his other ACL, and had to have surgery on Christmas Eve.
We gave him his Christmas presents early...
And let him unwrap them, which he loves to do.
He loved this squeaky squirrel, and the squeaky pteradactyl that Tommy got him.
Surgery went well, and he's doing great in recovery.  Poor poodle!

Christmas Eve Eve

Our annual Christmas Eve Eve party was big fun again.  We went with our tradition of an Italian feast...
And burnt garlic bread.  Every year.
We left the spilling to the adults...

And posed for a nice picture...
And a silly picture before opening our presents.
We love this crew!

Auntie Leslie and Auntie Kimmy got us all matching Star Wars pjs.

And we all used the force in order to not fall off the bed while all jumping together.

Robby & Lizzy's Star Wars Party

Robby & Lizzy's 6th birthday had a Star Wars theme, so we decided to dress up: Tommy in his Vader shirt and light saber...
And me in my Princess Leia buns.
They had a Jedi obstacle course, complete with blaster practice...
And a Darth Vader pinata.
Tommy battled it with double sabers!
With Jedi training complete, it was time for cupcakes.
Happy Birthday, Robby and Lizzy!  May the force be with you!

School Parties

Before break we had a fun holiday party at school.  We did crafts, at snacks (like Cap'n Crunchberries, yum!), and got a little Hershey's kiss decorated like a mouse.  Cute!

Mom also went to Tommy's class to help him build a gingerbread house.  Winter vacation, here we come!

The Nutcracker

We went to see the kids' production of The Nutcracker at the library again this year.  It was super fun, and even better because my friend Isabella was in it!  We met up with her after, doing her little lamb pose from her number.

We also got some pictures with the principle dancers.  Fun!

Holiday Card 2015

In our annual holiday card tradition, we attempted a family portrait using the tripod and self-timer.  Success (mostly)!
Here are the other photos we included on our card...

And the only one that really should have been on there.
