Last Day of 2nd Grade

1st day of 2nd grade vs. last day of second grade.

Still silly.

Last Day of Preschool

1st day of preschool vs. last day of preschool. 

Mommy and got to go to Tommy's class picnic on his last day of school.  They ate with his buddy Linh...

And played with Kailee too.

Then they all got their preschool achievement certificates. 

Ms. Sara asked if Tommy wanted a hug or a high 5, and he instantly grabbed her for a hug.

And snuggled his head against Mrs. Moeller.  He loved his teachers.

These two will be big kindergarteners together here next year!

And we'll still get fun playtime with his buddy Linh.

Afterwards we celebrated with Sarah and frozen yogurt!

Crazy Hair and a Missing Tooth!

Tommy had crazy hair day the last week of school.  And he lost his first tooth!

Field Day

The last week of school was so fun!  The PTA put on a field day, and preschoolers got to play, too!

There was hula hooping...

And potato sack racing.

Here you can see me and my friend Kailee in action.

Kailee and I also did the partner's beach ball race...

And the pool noodle javelin toss.

And afterwards we got Popsicles!

Later I got to come watch Katherine do all the activities with her class.

They did a pizza box race too.

And she even let me be her partner on the beach ball race!

Tommy's Report Card

Tommy got a great report card from preschool, but here's Mom and Dad's favorite part:

"Tommy's language is well developed. He will sometimes amaze us with his memorization and pronunciation of words that stem from the subjects he loves: Pokemon names, the history and plot of Star Wars, details about Godzilla."

Mom says Tommy is probably the only person to have the word "Godzilla" in their official report card.

Last weekend Tommy finished his reading chart!  50 books!  Well, Mom gave him 2 points for each beginning chapter book, like this "Henry and Mudge" one. But that's still a lot of reading for a little man!

 Completed chart= Chuck E Cheese!  Tommy loved playing this racing game, and coming in 1st...

 And winning tons of tickets.  Great job, Tom Tom Frog!

Pickle Juice Popsicles

Mom jokingly said she'd make us pickle juice popsicles, and we said we'd eat them.  

Guess the joke's on me. Gross!

Tommy actually ate his for about 5 minutes, then made a face and said, "I'm done with this!"

Fun in Oceanside

We went down to spend the night with Robby and Lizzy last weekend.  We had too much fun to take many pictures, but here's one of us scooting/building thrones with giant Jenga pieces...

And wearing the shirts that we tie dyed there.  Fun!

Chewy's 11th Birthday

Chewy is 11!  We made cupcakes for him, but they were chocolate so he didn't get to eat them. 

But he did get to eat the cupcake shaped dog treat!

He had fun opening his presents.

And tugging on them with Tommy.

We took him to the park so he could feel the wind in his ears...
