Flight of the Hippogriff

We love the roller coaster in Harry Potter World!  May and I sat up front, squealing with our arms in the air the whole time.
Tommy had his own silliness sitting with Mom.
He bowed to the Hippogriff...
Then excitedly went up the hill to the top...

Put his arms up...
And loved it!
Good job, little daredevil!

Harry Potter World

We had last Wednesday off from school, so we decided to go make some magic at Harry Potter world with our friends May and Linh.
Accio fun!
We wore our Gryffindor and quidditch robes and had tons of fun!

We saw the frog choir...
Avoided our moms...
And saved up some money for some cool toys!

Even-More-Toothless Tommy

Tommy may have lost his other front tooth while wrestling with me. We're not sure how he's going to eat anything, but he looks pretty cute.

The Fluffy Bats

Last weekend we spent the night at Miles and Henry's house. We decided to form a band with me on keyboard, Miles on guitar, and Henry on the drums. Tommy was the designated dancer/hype man.
Look out, world!  The Fluffy Bats will rock you!

Celebrating

Our favorite babysitter, Bernie, has moved up to San Francisco, but she was back here for her son Ian's 1st birthday, and we got to go to his party. We partnered up for a 3-legged race...
And got our faces painted.

Speaking of babysitters, Mom and Dad got one to go out and play at Oktoberfest.
I'm glad we didn't have to go. They're so embarrassing.

Eevees

I finally got the Eevees (from Pokemon) that Grandma sent for my birthday. I LOVE them!

So does Tommy.

Rockin' 50's Fall Festival

We went to our school's fall festival on Friday. It was 50's themed, so we had to dress the part.

Complete with greased back hair.
Tommy had fun seeing his school buddies, like Gavin.
 And playing video games.
He was so excited to play that this is what he did the whole time! I spent most my time on the dance floor, chomping my gum, with my friend Sarina.
We also played some carnival games, like balloon busters where you had to pop your balloon before your competitor.
Then we entered the costume contest, and were a bit bummed when we didn't win.
But we had a great time!  Halloween time is the best!

Toothless Tommy

Mom can't get enough of Tommy's toothless smile.

Last Lap

We ran with our friends the first few laps of 100 Mile Club on Friday, but decided to hold hands and walk the last lap together.

Super Readers!

Mom got an email that we were both getting awards at the spirit rally on Friday. But she didn't tell us! We were surprised and excited to see her there.
When they called Tommy's name to come get the Super Reader award, all his buddies high-fived him.

Here he is with his teacher, Ms. Martinez.

I got high-fives when they called my name for the Super Reader award too...
Most notably from JP, the Peterson dolphin!
Since I'm in the 3/4 combo class, I went to the 4th/5th grade assembly, and was the only 3rd grader to get an award there!
Mom was pretty proud to get to cheer for 2 Super Readers!
We even talked her into getting us an Icee after school.
