Things That Are Cute and Snuggly

Is it just me, or does Chewy look extra cute lately?

He loves being a watchdog on the balcony while watching the sunset.
And speaking of cute and snuggly, Tommy still can't get in enough cuddle time with Teddy. Here he is reading and rubbing Teddy's little arm nubs.

Hanging with our Friends

We've had lots of fun hanging with our buddies this summer. My friend Emily came over to play and make stop motion animation movies with me...
We went on a little overnight adventure to Barona with May and Linh...

We met Miles and Henry at TeWinkle Park for some goof-around time.
We slept over at the our neighbors Olivia and Izzy's house, and then had them over to watch a movie the next night.
And we had some fun adventures with Robby and Lizzy when they came up to have a sleepover.
We did some silly bowling...
Our favorite part was that we got to post pictures of ourselves on the scoreboard for everyone to see.
We took them to After's for some yummy ice cream, and then  to our pool.
Then we came home and made pizzas...
Before getting in some movie and snuggle time.
We're so lucky to have so many fun friends!

Boogie Boarding

We're big kids now, so we talked Mom and Dad into buying boogie boards.
We not catching all the big waves yet, but we're having a blast!

Art Event

We went to a kids' art and music event at the mall on Friday. I got a balloon puppy, and Tommy got a sword.
We also had some amazing face painting done.

Then we played tag and goofed around with some of the other kids. Tommy took his swordplay VERY seriously.

Chicken Fight!

Tommy and Mom really stepped up their chicken fighting game this weekend.

And Tommy learned how to do a flip from one of the very nice  neighbors.

Swim Lessons 2017

We made a lot of progress at our swim lessons this summer! Notice Tommy jumping off the high dive and swimming through the deep end with no lifeguard needed? Big stuff!  And I'm doing great on my side-breathing and backstroke. Look out, ocean, here we come!

Summer Living

We've been having a fun and lazy summer, taking advantage of the beaches...
Reading and playing at the park...
Going on picnics...
And going out to lunch with Mom.
We also signed up for free weekly coding and robotics classes at the library.
We're getting pretty good, and could change the color lights in its nose, make it move, and get it to say, "Mom drools".
Fun stuff!

The Tube Fairy Came!

I went to the ENT doctor for a routine recheck on my ear tubes, and one had fallen out! He pulled it out of my ear canal, and I got to take it home to leave for the tube fairy. I was so excited!
Yup, you heard right, TUBE fairy. Mom was unaware such a thing existed until the doctor told me. Thanks, doc! I opted not to put it on my pillow, because it was pretty gross looking, but on my nightstand instead. One down, one to go!

Tommy + Kailee

Tommy and Kailee, buddies since preschool. I got to play with them when she came over the other day.
Needless to say, they are silly. I fit in well.
Then we ran into them at lunch the next day! Happy kiddos.

Dombeks Visit

The Dombeks were in town last week to play! They invited us to our very first professional baseball game!
Kara and I had fun twirling our rally monkeys, eating cotton candy, and cheering.
Tommy was not such a fan. On the way out Mom asked him if it was a fun first baseball game, and he said, "Yeah, but it was also the worst."
The next day we had them over for a water balloon fight, some swimming...
And a trip to Yogurtland. We love and miss you guys already!

4th of July 2017

We weren't quite organized enough to chalk off our own spot along the parade route this year for the 4th, but we are now both big kids and rode our bikes all the way there. I love the parade. This picture sums up how Tommy feels about it:
He has more fun gooning around...
But I like all the floats,  bands, and balloons.
After the parade our neighbors had a little party. They let me help at the sno-cone machine!

Tommy was more interested in their trampoline.
And Chewy was interested in food anyone dropped.
We decorated our bikes and had a mini bike parade...

And then lit off some fireworks at night. A successful 4th!
