Winter Recitals

We had our grade level recitals this week. I got to stand by my friend Emily while we sang.

Mom didn't have a great view of me, but here's a little bit of the 4th graders singing "Run Run Rudolph", and then Tommy and the 1st graders singing "Winter Wiggles" and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer". He warned us he'd only be mouthing the words, not actually singing, but at least he got into it a little this year.
And Tommy and his best buddy Kailee had to get a picture together afterward.

Making Cookies

Cookies are all decorated for Santa.
Now let's hope Mom and Dad don't eat them all!

Holiday Piano Recital

Ms. Leah said we both did a great job at our piano recital.
And Mom and Dad agreed!

Decorating the Tree

We decorated the tree according to tradition, drinking sparkling apple cider and listening to the Nutcracker. It looks good!

Is That Santa Again?

We seem to run into Santa everywhere we go! I think he knows what we want for sure by now.

This Santa even gave us Pokemon donuts!
And rode an inflatable surfboard. Huntington Beach Santa is the best!

Robby and Lizzy's Harry Potter Birthday Party

Robby and Lizzy had an awesome Harry Potter themed 8th birthday party. Auntie Kimmy really outdid herself! We all dressed the part...

Tommy even had the Harry Potter scar.

We got sorted into our houses by the sorting hat. Tommy was a Gryffindor...
And I was a Hufflepuff.

We all had big wizarding fun!

Visiting Santa

We went to South Coast Plaza for our annual visit to Santa.
We told him what we want, and that we've been good.
And he said he'd come on Christmas Eve.
Even though Mom calls us stinkers...
She knows we've been good all year. For the most part. ;)
Tommy got to ride the little Christmas train, but I was too tall this year.
But we'll always be able to ride the reindeer carousel.

Pajama Day

The 4th grade organized book and pajama donations for disadvantaged kids, and then the whole school got to wear pajamas on the day we turned the donations in.

Super Dolphin

I got a Super Dolphin award from the principal. I was a little excited to get called down to the office over the loudspeaker to pick it up.

Armstrong Woods

Instead of shopping on Black Friday we went hiking in the Redwoods!
Armstrong woods was so cool!

And hanging with our cousins is the best!

Thanksgiving 2017

We had a super fun Friendsgiving with everyone!

Uncle Kevin is a great (and silly) cook.

The kids' table had fun...
And so did the adults' table.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! We have a lot of great friends and family to be thankful for.
And that night our elf on the shelf baked cookies for us to tell us he was excited to see us soon!

Turkey Trot

Thanksgiving morning we joined the Healdsburg Turkey Trot!
It was the first 5K run for me and for Mom!

Here's our running crew: Lizzy, Uncle Andy, Kat, Andy, Auntie Leslie, Kara, Avery, and Mom. Tommy and Daddy opted out.
We finished and had a lot of fun!
