Cousins and Second Cousins

We had fun going to see Mom's cousins, Kerri and Brent, in Morris, MN.

The girls had fun playing in Sage and Clare's room.  (L to R) That's Lucile (10), Care, Sage, and me.  I love having second cousins!

Hanging Out in Minnesota

We had lots of fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Grandma let me play with all these figurines that used to be Mom's when she was a kid...

We read lots of books...

And did some good snuggling with Dexter.

My friend Aubrey even came over to play Polly Pocket with me...

And have a "rockstar fashion show".  We're so silly!

We also went out to dinner at a cool outdoor place called "The Bridge".

We were too late for the live entertainment, but that just left the stage open for us!

In the Lake

We loved wading in the lake, it was so warm and there were no crazy waves like the beach at home.  

 We even got to see this cool water plane land!

On the Lake

Last week we went to Minnesota to stay with Grandma and Grandpa at the lake.  I love the lake, and really love being out on the speed boat.

Tommy wasn't so sure about the speed boat...

 He liked it a little better when Dad let him wear his sunglasses, and then liked it even more when Grandpa let him drive.  

With his oversized shades and feathered hair, Mom said he looked like he was driving a speed boat straight out of Miami Vice.

I got to drive too.   

That meant the adults got to relax.  Here's Grandma with her sippy cup of wine...

And Mom having a beer and enjoying the view.  

We like hanging out together...

We mostly like each other...

And we love the lakes!

Pirate Girl

We had "X Marks the Spot" day at school today.  I made a cool treasure map (see the pirate ship in the middle with the blue sails?)...

And had a cool pink pirate eye patch painted on me.  Yar!

After Bath Dress-Up

Mom wrapped us in our towels after our bath tonight and we called them our "pretty dresses".  Don't we look fancy?  And a little big silly.

We had a hard time keeping them on, so she kept having to wrap us up again to get a picture. 

Got it!

Afterwards Daddy told us to wiggle until we got the towels off so we could get in our PJ's.  Here we are doing our best hula.  

Nighty night, pretty towel dresses!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

 We made a treasure hunt for Daddy on Father's Day.  Mom made a little origami shirt for him to start, and then I helped him read all the clues to find all his presents.

Tommy and I made hand prints and colored pictures for him...

And I had fun reading him the clues, even when he was trying to distract me by tickling me.  





Tommy was more interested in building a huge mobile home out of legos initially...

But then he was excited to watch Daddy open this present I made at school.  Chewy was excited too.

It's a block of wood with my picture on it that says "Chip Off the Old Block".  

We also got him this remote control helicopter (Chewy bit his other one and broke it) that shoots bubbles as it flies!  It's almost like it was made especially to drive Chewy insane.  

After some more giggling...





It was time to snuggle and take turns reading from my new favorite book series, The Magic Tree House.  

That afternoon we went for a hike with Chewy.

 I'm getting to be a pretty good climber!

After dinner we all split a chocolate sprinkled donut (my choice).

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!  We love you so much!
