Sea World Sleepover

Daddy and I went to an Indian Princesses event at Sea World a few weeks ago.  I was so excited to ride in his car with the sunroof open!  It's much more fun than Mom's car.

Once we got there we all got shirts to wear.  This was the smallest one they had.  The girls there were 5-12 years old, and I was the youngest.  But I liked it anyway because it was more like a dress than a shirt.

Here I am answering some questions from the counselors...

And here we are at the new stingray exhibit.

I wasn't so sure about touching them.  Maybe later...

Then we all made necklaces from real shark teeth!  Mine bit me later (a little poke), but I still thought it was really cool.

Here we are learning about the differences between seals and sea lions.

At about 10:00 we got into our PJ's...

And slept inside this aquarium, with the leopard sharks and garibaldi swimming all around us.

The next morning it was off to the tide pool exhibit...

Nice pats for the sea star...

I'm an independent kiddo!

Here's my group (that's me, front and center).

And here I am walking with the group.  I had to run a lot of the time to keep up since my legs were a little smaller than everyone else's.

We loved the sea turtles!

And NOW I want to touch those bat rays!

Got one!  I named that one flappy.

It was cool to see them swimming above us.

And then I was back to pet them one more time.

No visit to Sea World is complete without the Shamu show!

Look at him jump!

Daddy and I had such a fun time together!

I got a little chilly, so Dad let me wear his jacket while we looked at the beluga whales...

And the penguins.  Thanks for all the fun, Daddy!

New Scooter

Mom and Dad said if I finished my 1st grade math workbook I could have a new big kid scooter.  I'm done, and here it is!  Now I can scoot to school at super speed!

Last Soccer Practice

Since our last soccer practice was after we made the daylight savings switch, it was pretty dark out.  Our parents and coaches decided to make it fun by bringing tutus and glow-necklaces for us.
Tommy wasn't too into it at first, and wanted to just sit and play iPad instead....
But then he saw how much fun we were having, and he was in!
L to R: Beatrix, Ashlyn, Natalie, Kya, Kali, and me, with Coach Troy and Coach Jen in the back

I'll miss this silly crew!

Last Soccer Game

I had my last soccer game with my team, the Red Rabbits, last weekend...

And even though we didn't win...

I did lots of throw-ins...

And got in on the action a lot.

Mom asked me at halftime if I was having fun and if I wanted to play again next year, and I said, "No."

But I still got in there and played.

Then we got to the end of the year party.  The coaches gave us each a trophy and told us about all the special qualities we brought to the team.  Even Tommy and Mommy got a ribbon to share!

I love my team members and coaches...

And I LOVE my trophy.  Maybe I'll play again next year after all.

Recent Artwork

Mom says my artwork is getting much more detailed, and that she's really impressed with some of my new drawings.  Here's a barn scene (notice the udder on the cow)...

And a castle with a knight and a crocodile hiding in the moat.

Halloween Candy Buy Back

We didn't have quite as many trick-or-treaters come to our house this year, and we got a TON of candy trick-or-treating ourselves, so we decided to keep a few pieces, and bring the rest to a local dentist for a candy buy-back program.  They weigh your candy and give you $1 per pound, then send it to our soldiers overseas.  Here's the letter I wrote to send with our candy to the soldiers:
It also had a flower on the back and said, "Dear Soldiers, I love you."  Mom said it was perfect and very sweet.  Check out our earnings!

Toy store, here we come!
