Tommy's been having lots of fun with Mom while I'm at school. As you can guess, I am not pleased about this, but I am glad he's having fun. I guess.
He told Mom he was ready to go play like this. I would have recommended pants, but I wasn't there.
He went to this pretty park and got to see baby ducks...
And has been practicing his skills at the Little Gym...
And goofing around with his friends and instructor there.
He even went to a dinosaur playground with Robby and Lizzy. Without ME!
Mom got to go...
And Tommy rode a T Rex, and saw these cool animatronic cosmoceratops and triceratops.
Lucky!
Then he went to the zoo with his friend Colton.
They monkeyed around, and saw the bald eagle (back left)...
Hung out in the dino eggs...
And waved to the train. Maybe I'll quit school so I can have more fun too...
Every Tuesday downtown Huntington Beach has a street fair, and this month it was all about super heroes! Tommy and I decided to dress the part.
We ran into Black Widow and Captain America on the way.
They asked us to come help them fight crime. Batgirl and the Hulk to the rescue!
They put on a superhero show...
And then asked for brave participants. Naturally, I was front and center.
We got a few pieces of candy and saved the day!
Black Widow liked Tommy, and even gave him her number.
Or maybe it was her autograph. He's not telling.
Guess who was one of the first students of the month? Me! I was so excited, and got to go up on the stage in front of the whole school to accept the award while they all clapped. First grade rocks!
We are getting in the Halloween spirit, so we went down to the coolest pumpkin patch to play. We decorated cookies...
And licked all the frosting off.
We jumped off hay bales...
And got to ride the Halloween train!
We also got to play in all the silly photo boards.
Our 3rd cousins Quinne and Sloane sent us these cool painted lady caterpillars. There were 5, and they ate and ate and got bigger and bigger until they started hanging on to the top of their jar...
And turned into chrysalides!
Then 2 days ago they hatched into butterflies!
Tommy will explain it all:
This morning we released them. Here's one on my finger...
Then on my skirt.
And then on Tommy's finger. See what happened after that? Ahhhh! Sprinklers!!!!
