As you can see, I was very happy and proud of my accomplishment.

The Karate Kid, Part 2: Breaking a Board
That's right, I broke a board in karate yesterday. The first attempt didn't go so well, and then Mom almost missed filming the second successful attempt.

Tubes are In!
I went back to school this week, and Tommy logged a few days at the park with his buddy, Marshmallow.
He's a good friend, and even pushed Marshmallow on the swings.
After school Mom played the Pokemon card game I got for Easter with me. It only took her about an hour of studying the night before to figure out how to do it.
Then today I took a break from school to get some much needed drainage tubes in my ears. I was a little nervous, and was very glad they let me take Lamby in with me.
Here's my face after the nurse told me out about "The Tube Fairy". She's sort of like the tooth fairy, but gives you money and treats when your ear tubes fall out on their own.
After that I wasn't feeling as nervous...
And was back to my normal silly self.
All went well and it was over before I knew it. I don't even feel the tubes in there! The nurses said I was a great patient, and I have the sticker to prove it!

Spring Break
We road tripped out to Arizona to visit Grandma, Grandpa, and Dexter over spring break.
We did some mini-golfing - check out that follow-through!
And had our first blizzard at the Dairy Queen courtesy of Grandma.
Thanks, Grandma!
We watched a cool 3D undersea movie at their house, and went to see "Home" in the theater.
We had a great time!
Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa, we love you!
Easter
Happy Easter! We got lots of fun stuff in our Easter baskets. Pokemon and Godzilla cards...
Godzilla eggs for Tommy and a snuggly Wild Kratts cheetah for me.
We also hunted for eggs in the backyard...
And then all went down to Dog Beach to play...
And dig...
Including Tommy.
And was fun splashing around with Chewy.
We're beach kids and dogs...
And we love our poodle.

Tommy's a Reader!
Tommy finished all 100 lessons in his reading book! We're very proud of him.
Here's the last story he read, and here's a video of him reading it. Two warnings:
1. This is long, and boring for anyone who is not a grandparent or a linguistics student.
2. It's early, and Mom's looking a little less than put together.
Because he finished all the lessons he got to go to Chuck E. Cheese!
He played games and won tickets...
And tried to beat Dad at air hockey.
I may have won a few tickets myself!
Then we did the Chucky dance...
And picked up all the free tickets he threw at us!
Finally we cashed them in for these many treasured rinky-dink prizes. Way to go, Tommy!
