Tommy's Teeth

Tommy lost ANOTHER tooth!  Those top 2 are still nowhere to be found, but the bottom front two are peeking out. But now there's a space next to those. Sigh...

He doesn't care. He's up for anything that makes him look goofier. 

The Wedge

All the students in Katherine's class are doing reports on different landmarks in Orange County. Katherine's is on The Wedge, a famous surfing spot in Newport Beach. Since she'd never seen it, Mom took us out there to explore. 

Then we came home and snuggled The Fuzzbucket.

Dinner with Nora

I got to take my friend Nora out to dinner with us at BJ's Pizza to celebrate my accelerated reading award. We had fun coloring and giggling...

And Mom and Tommy had fun taking selfies together.

We even got to split our own pizookie dessert!

Tommy Gets to 25 Miles

Tommy made it to 25 miles in 100 Mile Club. Here he is with Dr. P getting his t-shirt.

First Trip to the Snow

With all the rain we've been getting, we decided to head up to Mountain High to check out the snow. We were not disappointed!

 There was so much snow we just pulled over, got out our sleds, and started to play!

 We had snowball fights...

 Built snowmen...

 And made snow angels.

And, of course, went sledding!

Tommy Drawing

Tommy has been a drawing machine lately. Look at all these characters he made, and this was just in one day!

The best part about his drawing is watching him. The secret must be in that tongue, it never rests!

Cashing in our Christmas Presents

Mom's present to me this year was a day out for fancy tea, just the girls. She got this tea hat for me, and one for Savannah too!

We got dressed up and went out for high tea. Both Savannah and I felt very fancy. 

I tried some peppermint tea, but even 5 lumps of sugar didn't make it taste good. So I switched to pink lemonade.

Pinkies up!

I like my scone with whipped cream and jam, but refused to try any of Mom's tea sandwiches, no matter how many times she tried to tell me how good tuna fish is.

We had some yummy desserts...

And a few sugar cubes, and many many silly laughs. 

When Mom paid the bill I took this note that I had written this morning out of Savannah's purse and gave it to her. She said I'm her sweetest daughter ever!

Tommy's present was a day of laser tag with Dad. It was pretty dark in there, so they didn't get a ton of pictures, but they had a blast!

We both decided experience presents are the way to go. I'm already plotting for next year.

Happy New Year!

Mom and Dad went out for an early dinner and drink on New Year's Eve. 

 They kept it classy...

And were home in time to ring in the New Year with us (on east coast time).

Revolving Sushi Bar

We went to a revolving sushi bar for dinner. We didn't want any sushi, but we loved taking it off the conveyor belt for Mom and Dad.

I did love the udon though. 

The first thing we wanted to do when we got home was build a conveyor belt with our GoldieBlox.

 It worked, and the bear family was very happy to have their plastic food brought to them.

Secret Santa Party

We had a ton of fun hosting our annual Secret Santa party.  I got a cool Harry Potter trivia set, and Robby, Evan, and Kara played with me.

And built a laser maze with yarn and all the tape in the house.

Xmas Eve Eve

We went down to Auntie Kimmy and Uncle Andy's for our annual Xmas Eve Eve celebration.  Daddy decided he would skate with the kiddos...

And swing too.

The kids, however, decided to play video games 4 inches from the TV screen.
