There's an acting group called Imagination Machine that comes to our school every year and acts out stories that students write, and this year my story was 1 of 5 in the school chosen! I got to watch them act it out today and it was so cool!

Science Fair Projects 2017
We had open house last night at school to show off our science fair projects. I tested which materials blocked sound most effectively by covering my boom box while it was playing Taylor Swift songs.
The experiment ended in me getting wrapped up in the egg crate and tickled. This was not part of my hypothesis.
Tommy built different ramps for his Hot Wheels cars to see which height made the cars go farthest.
Then once he found the best height, he tested which car went farthest. Good job extrapolating on your original experiment, Boodle!
On Wednesdays We Wear Pink
After Mom dropped Tommy's Ninja Turtles sweatshirt in the gutter while getting out of the car for school, I offered to let him borrow my light pink fuzzy one. In his "anything for a laugh" style, he took me up on it.
He said everyone thought he was funny, but one kid asked him, "Is that a girl's sweatshirt?" He answered, "There's no such thing as a boy's or girl's sweatshirt." Good job, Tommy!

Valentine's Day in Tommy's Class
Mom helped out in Tommy's class on Valentine's Day. She helped the kids make graphs of their candy hearts' colors (and convinced them, not all that successfully, to only eat 2 a piece).
Tommy looked cute in his math hearts hat.
And the whole class had a great time making a little thumbprint poster for their teacher.

Medieval Times
We went to Medieval Times with the Dorfmans last weekend. It was so much fun!
We shopped around in the gift shop before the show. Even though Tommy looks very menacing in this helmet, he couldn't convince Mom to buy it for him.
Inside we got to sit really close to the arena and the action, and waved our banners to cheer for the red and yellow knight.
Daddy and Dave planned to dress alike since it was Valentine's weekend (not really but it's still funny).
Tommy loved eating his chicken with his hands. Me, not so much.
Mom and Rachel had fun goofing around...
And we had fun cheering and watching the show.
And even though our knight didn't win we still had tons of fun!
And as always, no goofiness.
Awards and Accomplishments
Tommy received a Super Dolphin award from the principal for having good behavior in class and for doing so well on all his math lab work. Way to go, Super Tommy!
He is also becoming an accomplished artist. He draws EVERYTHING! So much so, that Mom and Dad had to get him file folders so he can collect and separate all his work. You can't have the Moana stuff with the Super Mario or Monster Physics stuff!
However, he did not get through his "Adventures in Eating" chart as fast as I did, so he missed a special reward trip to Chuck E Cheese!
But don't worry, he had fun being home and snuggling with Dad.

Disneyland!
Uncle Stuart, Auntie Niki, and Kyle took us to Disneyland last weekend!
We had fun goofing around with Kyle, we missed him! Tommy and Kyle held hands and made crazy noises to each other most of the day.
We blasted Emperor Zurg on the Buzz Lightyear ride...
Saw Dumbo...
And sung along at the Tiki Room.
We all LOVED the Star Tours ride...
And just hanging out and having fun!
