Flying Above the Pool

Our friends Nikko and Natalie came over last week to kick off spring break and we had some fun in the pool first. Their dad, Wydd, is so fun and threw us super high in the air.

Bullet Train Sushi

We went to a cool sushi place that delivered your food by shinkansen (Japanese bullet train). We loved it! Especially the mochi.

Maybe I'll have to learn to like sushi.

Pool Playtime

We had a blast playing in the pool at the hotel with Robby and Lizzy.

And even though the pool was great, the waterslides were THE BEST!

Especially when we got creative with our sliding.

Too much fun!

San Diego Mini-Vacation

We had a super fun time with Auntie Kimmy, Uncle Andy, Robby, and Lizzy in San Diego.  We played in the pool all day, then went to Mom and Auntie Kimmy's old college hangout World Famous for dinner.

They had lobster tacos, and tried to get us to eat popcorn shrimp, but we weren't having it.

 Then we took some pictures by the beach...

 And roasted marshmallows for s'mores back at the hotel. 

Spring Break at Hogwarts

We're on spring break, and spent one day at Universal studios with our friends May, Linh, and Tiana.

We had so much fun! May, Tiana, and I went on the scary Harry Potter ride all by ourselves, had tons of fun goofing around, and I got to have a butterbeer (non-alcoholic, don't worry)!

We all saved up for the trip, and adopted matching giant pygmy puffs.

Tommy opted for Najini the snake. Such a fun day!

Easter 2017

The Easter bunny came! I got fun candy, Shopkins, Legos, and this little stuffed Pokemon!

Tommy got the same stuff as me, only he got a stuffed Godzilla!

Nana came over and brought her new little puppy, Samantha. 

She's so tiny!

We dyed some Easter eggs...

And hunted for Easter eggs. One was so well-hidden we didn't find it until the next day!

Tommy liked playing tug with Samantha...

And she liked snuggling Daddy.

Nana also brought her turtles. Tommy set up a race course for them...

And I helped provide the strawberry motivation. 

It wasn't the most exciting race, but we still had fun!

Preschool Play Time

I went to my friend Camryn's birthday party. We've been friends since preschool! We did some card crafting, ate lunch, 

And watched Beauty and the Beast in the super fancy movie theater!

While I was gone, Tommy had Kailee over to play. They played Play Doh, did some swinging, built a fort and had lots of fun. They've been good buddies since they were 2!

2 Awards for Tommy!

Tommy got 2 awards at the spirit assembly today!  

He got the character award for courage. He said his class voted for him because he was brave and a strong friend who sticks up for other friends.

He also got an award for completing JiJi, his kindergarten math program.

We're so proud of you, Tommy!

Lord of the Dance

Thomas O'Kingman came to do a little jig for us the other day:

Dad says it's too bad he couldn't have tapped into this showmanship for the concert.

Kindergarten Spring Concert

Tommy had his Kindergarten concert on Tuesday.

He likes being on stage, but says he does not like singing in front of people. You can see his enthusiasm perfectly captured in this picture:

He did have fun gooning around with his friend Nigel between songs...

And with Nigel and Jayden after the show.
