Pajama Day

The last day of school before holiday break was a school-wide pajama day!

Holiday Piano Recitals 2018

We had our holiday piano recital last week, and Mom and Dad said we did a great job!

Tommy played The Little Drummer Boy, I played Santa Claus is Swinging Into Town, and I did a duet of Light a Torch Jeanette, Isabella.

We made our annual visit to South Coast Plaza to see Santa

I asked for an interactive Harry Potter wand, and Tommy asked for a Grumblie. 

However, after we made sharp shivs out of our candy canes Mom worried that we may be moved to the naughty list. 

But we left these reindeer unharmed, so we're probably still on the nice list. 

Rewards Parties

Since we met our reading goals we got to go to the Accelerated Reader Field Day party. I had fun with my friends...

And Tommy had fun playing on the playground and wouldn't stay still long enough to let Mom take a picture of him. 

We also went to the Scouts' Popcorn Sales Ice Cream Party where we got our awards from popcorn sales. And ice cream!

Xmas Prep

We're getting ready for Christmas!  Baked cookies with the neighbors...

And had a cookie swap party with them too!

Dad got a custom holiday dickie made by one of Mom and Dad's sillier friends...

We went to a neighborhood holiday party where Dad got to show off his Christmas formal wear. 

We made our annual visit to the library to see The Nutcracker ballet. 

And the sunsets have been beautiful lately! We're almost Xmas ready!

But all this running around is wearing Chewy out. 

Big Fish

We finally found somewhere to fill up our big fish from Grandma and Grandpa and now it's on the move!

Grandma is Here!

Grandma came out to visit us! We took her to the beach...

To In-N-Out burger (the best burgers ever, in my opinion)

And even did a little painting with her. 

She was here for her birthday, so I made her a cake, almost all by myself.

We continued our tradition of buying a wrapped Christmas tree, not even looking at it before we bring it home. Dad says we should go one step beyond and just order one off the internet next year. 

Chewy let us open our present from him early because they were something for the Christmas tree. Lamby and Teddy ornaments! They're so cute!

We love them! And so do Lamby and Teddy. 

Grandma helped us decorate the tree.

December Scouting

We built boats for our Cub Scout Pack's Raingutter Regatta event.

We raced people from all different age groups. Here's Tommy vs Tiana from my den.

Big Winner! Well, for that race at least.

I won a race too, but Tommy and I both got knocked out pretty quickly. But there was a sno-cone machine, so I was somewhat consoled by that.

The week before my den made a visit to a local fire station. They showed us how all their equipment works...

And even dressed Mom up in their gear!
