We played with Miles, Robby, Lizzy, Harper, and Ollie at a fun BBQ at Auntie Kimmy's house last weekend.

Since we both earned double our goal points in reading for the trimester, we got to pick where we wanted to go to dinner. Celebrations and pizookies at BJs!

After watching a Wild Kratts episode about orb spiders, Tommy spun his own web out of yarn in the archway. Looks like the only thing he caught was himself though.

St. Patrick's Day 2018

We all wore various shades of green for St. Patrick's Day...

Except Chewy. He forgot.

We also made some leprechaun traps around the house. We didn't catch any, but apparently a few of the traps were sprung and they left behind some chocolate gold coins. I wrote them this letter: 

Dudettes and Donuts

Since Mom went to "Dads and Donuts" at school when Dad was out of town, he came for "Dudettes and Donuts". But he opted not to wear any of Mom's clothes. 

Splashball

Tommy got to bring a friend (me!) to Splashball on Friday. I did a good job as goalie, and made a few shots of my own. At the end you can see Tommy couldn't get one past me!

Cake Pops: First Attempt

Nana got us a cake pop maker, and even though Mom is an admittedly bad baker and we had no idea what we were doing, we thought we'd give it a try.  

They turned out pretty good, round and everything! Then we melted some chocolate to dip them in and dyed it yellow to make...

In Tooth News...

Tommy lost another tooth, this time at school!

And I went in to get my braces tightened for the first time. Can you see the difference from today (left) to just one month ago? Pretty cool! I like my new rainbow bands too.

Pi Day Cookies

It's Pi Day (March 14 = 3.14) for all the nerds out there, including us!  Mom got some cool pi shaped cookie cutters (and a few other fun ones) so we had to test them out.

 We also had to test out the icing we made, yum!

 And the cookies turned out yummy too!

Harlem Globetrotters

For Christmas Nana asked for a trip to see the Harlem Globetrotters, and last weekend we cashed in!  

It was so fun! Lots of laughs and cool basketball stunts, we loved it!

And then to their friend Vicky's 40th birthday. We didn't care because we got to play with the babysitter. 

School Stuff

One of the yearbook photographers sent this picture to Mom from Tommy's class. It cracked her up. 

Hopefully he looks more like this most of the time. 

My assignment this week was to make a potato into a book character. I those Waif, a little magical dog from the "Howl's Moving Castle" series. Taping hair to a potato is weird.

Put it actually turned out to be a pretty cute puppy tater!

In other news, Tommy got into the GATE program, so I guess you shouldn't judge him by this picture.
