We went to a little Back to School swim party with our good friends. Kat had fun goofing around with her friends and giggling in the hot tub...
And Tommy and Cole had a blast on the slide.
Goofballs.
We've also started taking Gizmo out for walks, which he LOVES. He hasn't had his last round of shots yet, so he can't go on the grass, but at least he gets out to meet people!
And we get out to get a little break from each other. :)
Gizmo seems to be getting pretty comfortable with us at our house. Here he is snuggling with Tommy while he plays on his iPad...
And peeking at Mom over the wall.
He can chase Tommy 3/4 of the way up the slide...
And loves gnawing on everything, and everyone.
He got to come with to pick up Kat's books and schedule for school...
And loves to play tug with this jump rope.
He's becoming Mom's little brown and white shadow...
And Kat is determined to make him into her snuggle buddy.
He LOVES lying on his back to have his belly rubbed...
And has torn a hole in at least one of each of our shirts when he gets too riled up and jumps on us. This one is especially funny because it says "Doodles are a girl's best friend", and it was her first time wearing it.
He loves giving Tommy "kisses with teeth" and crawling all over him.
And tries to bite Dad's tongue when he makes the "Pbbbbtttt" sound at him.
He loves his new buddy Luna. She's small, but she can definitely hold her own with him.
He's a good boy most of the time...
Especially when he's sleepy and super cute.
He likes biting on stuff under the chair outside when one of us is sitting in it.
And playing fetch with his toys.
Two brothers...
Dad tied this box to the swingset, and it keeps Gizmo busy tugging and chewing on it.
Hey guys, can I come in? I swear I'll be good.
Mom, can you help me get this off my nose?
Tommy made protective armor for his arms from Mom's Diet Coke boxes...
Although he looks pretty harmless here...

Every once in awhile he'll have some good snuggle time with us on the couch, and we all love it!
Here you can see him in action chasing Tommy around the back yard, climbing all over him, playing fetch with Kat, playing in the pool, running around with his buddy Luna, and wagging his tail in his sleep at the end.
Well, in case the look on Kat's face doesn't tell you, the first day of school was a bit uneventful this year.
Distance learning will go AT LEAST through the end of October, so it's lots of Zoom meetings and mic muting for these two. Kat works at her desk in her room...
And Tommy's downstairs at a desk in the living room/kitchen.
We still took 1st day of school pics. Kat is a 7th grader...
And Tommy is a 4th grader. Here's to a (hopefully) great year!
A week later, Kat got her school pics taken with her friend Tiana. At least we'll have the normalcy of school pictures!
