Haircut for Kat

Kat went to Mom's hairdresser for a legit hair cut. She wanted to go shorter...

And it turned out so cute!

Mom warned her she wouldn't be able to teach her how to do the "beachy waves" like the stylist did. 

That's what she thinks of that. 

New Year's Beach Day

We decided to start out 2021 right: at the beach! 

It was Gizmo's first time at dog beach, and he had a BLAST!

He loved running around with Tommy...

And Tommy even taught him to dig!

That night Dad baked bread and we made our own little charcuterie board. Yum! 

Gizmo got festive before midnight..

And Tommy joined in.

8 Mile Hike!!!

Yup, you read that right, 8 miles! We didn't know that when we started out. That's why Kat and Sarah still look happy. 

So does Mom. 

It was a cool hike through Laguna Canyon. 

It was pretty steep down Car Wreck trail. You can see why it's called that. 

Pretty cool, and all covered in graffiti. 

There was also a cool cave...

At first we climbed on top...

But then we went inside. 

We may have a taken a wrong turn, and had to double back. But we saw a bunch of deer along the way, so maybe it was worth it? 

Either way, it was a beautiful day, a good workout, and always fun to hang with our friends. 

 

Mom/Sue's Birthday

We decided to celebrate Mom's birthday a day late on the 26th. We had a nice hike and watched the sunset...

Mom decided she wants to do her birthday on the 26th every year. 

Kat baked her a yummy cake...

And Gizmo even gave her puppy kisses. Happy Birthday, Mom!

Christmas Day 2020

Merry Christmas! Here's Kat in her new bean bag with her stocking of goodies...

And Tommy with his stocking and big box of Legos next to him. 

Gizmo loved his new Santa pickle, and even helped unwrap it!

Everyone had fun opening presents...

Especially Dad with his new beard charms. 

Tommy LOVED his new Pikmin game from Dad. 

And Dad loved his new skateboard from Tommy. 

But after a few hours here's the presents they wanted to play with...

Tommy's 10th Birthday

All Tommy wanted for his birthday was for his friend Cole to come over and play video games and eat fruit and Doritos. So on the 23rd, that's exactly what they did. 

The next day he got to open his presents...

And get lots of hugs for his double digit birthday!

He's pretty fun to buy presents for because he gets SUPER excited. 

And he LOVED this little Pikmin. 

And REALLY loved this Lego set!

That's a happy Legomaniac!

He requested donuts from the Donuttery instead of a cake.
