Volleyball Playoffs

Both kids' teams got first place in the volleyball rec league playoffs!

Tommy even had the winning serve!

Kat's team beat them in 2 straight sets, and played great!

It's fun winning with your buddies. 

And even your sibling.

Cole's BDay

Tommy got his friend Cole an experience gift, and took him to the Thrill It fun center. They did the ropes course...

Played laser tag...

And goofed around in the huge ball pit.

And of course had ice cream. 

Pier Swim

Mom has always wanted to do the HB Pier Swim, an annual event where you swim 1/2 mile around the pier. This year she decided to do it. 

She trained for about 2 months...

And swan with about 100 other people at the event. We watched from the pier. 

Go Mom!

She wasn't quite prepared for how big and fast the waves were coming in, so once she got out past the break she was super tired. But she kept going, slowly but surely, and made it to the finish line!

And earned a cocktail from her friend Michelle. 

She even made her a sign! Go, Mom!

Gizmo's 2nd Bithday

Happy 2nd Birthday Gizmo!

You're snuggly, silly, and seriously the weirdest dog we've ever met. And we love you!

For his birthday he got to come to dinner with us downtown, then go to the Barkery to pick out a treat and a toy.

Walk Through the American Revolution

Tommy's 5th grade class participated in Walk Through the American Revolution, an interactive way to learn about the events leading up to and occurring during the Revolution. Tommy was Thomas Jefferson, and did a great job!

He did a great job, and memorized all 3 of his speeches. Good job, Tom Tom!
