My First Grade Play

I auditioned and got the role of Lead Puppy in my 1st grade play, The Unity Tree.  I had lots of lines to memorize, and got to stand in front of everyone.  I also got to pick a name for my puppy: Sugar.

My friend Braden was Lead Kitty, and we made a good team.  I did a great job on my lines, but whenever I looked at Mom, Dad, and Tommy in the audience I couldn't help but break character and jump up and down and wave at them...

and grin.  Mom didn't have a good vantage point, so she didn't get to record most of the show,  but she did get the final song, with me up front singing. 

Everybody was very proud of me and said I did a great job.

I took them on a tour of the set...

And LOVED the spotlight!
