Dad took the day off and we had a super fun day at the LA Zoo...
Even though the sun was too bright for Tommy to smile.
We cracked up at this joey in its mama's pouch with only its legs sticking out...
And Tommy found his own trail.
This guy may have claimed it first though.
The elephants were pretty at first...
Then it was time for an elephant bathroom break and this happened (zoom in at your own discretion). This was the highlight of Tommy's day, and he couldn't stop laughing.
The monkeys were silly...
But the river otters may have been our favorite.
They were so silly and playful...
Wrestling with each other and making squeaky noises.
They had fun going down their water slide, then would swim around in the water and run back up to do it again.
The hippos were lazy...
The snow leopards were pretty and we got to watch them wrestle with each other...
And this jaguar stared at me like maybe he thought he knew me.
Pretty toucan!
Tiny caiman...
And goofballs in a big bird nest.
We love the meerkats...
And this one seemed to pose for a picture with me.
