Last weekend was Chewy's 13th birthday! We got him a squeaky toy and some pupperoni, and Mom made him some chicken and rice for dinner. The next day we took him to dog beach.
He hadn't been there since before he had any knee surgery. At first he wasn't sure about the water...
But after a little exploring and a lot of dog-sniffing...
He came out to join us.
He had fun chasing Dad...
Watching the waves with Tommy...
And following us around in the surf.
He even did a little light digging for old times' sake.
He posed for a picture...
But didn't warn Mom and Dad that a big wave was coming!
We had a fun family day celebrating our Fuzzbucket.
Here's a little peak at our beach time, and us gooning in the pool, just for good measure.
That night we took him out to dinner at the Lazy Dog Cafe.
