Tommy's 9th Birthday

The night before Tommy's birthday he got to pick where we went to dinner. He wanted CPK because they sing Happy Birthday to him there. 

The next morning our elf, Happy, knew Tommy would be up earlier than the rest of us, so he made a coded scavenger hunt for him. Tommy said it kept him busy for about 30 minutes. 

Then it was time for him to wake us up to open his birthday presents. 

He was pretty excited about this one from Grandma & Grandpa...

Oh yeah!

He also got a cool Lego set from me, and was very appreciative. 

Mom and Dad got him this computer coding logic game which is pretty cool. 

And there was a beautiful rainbow over our house just for his birthday. 

He got to choose where we went to lunch, so he chose Mexican food for his favorite burrito. Yes, that's a piece of rice on his forehead. 

He requested a cheesecake, so I made him one with Teddy on the front. 

We sang to him...

He made a wish and blew out the candles...

And said my cheesecake was even better than Junior's in NYC. He's a pretty sweet little boy.
