Since we didn't get to take any trips yet this summer, we decided to do a day of fun in LA. First stop: Warner Bros Studio Tour! Mom and Dad liked the "Friends" set, and quoted lots of lines.

They also had fun on the Big Bang Theory set. Mom got to sit in Sheldon's spot.
Last stop on the backlot was the Friends fountain.
It was fun going behind the scenes, and we think we even saw 2 of the stars of "Sex Lives of College Girls" (which Mom and Dad watch, but won't let us) walking onto set!
We had fun learning some of the movie-magic secrets. Here are Giant Kat and Tiny Tommy playing with forced perspective...
And working with motion-capture software to make Dobby dab.
Next was the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts set. Tommy was contemplating his concoction...
And Kat was excited about hers.
They also practiced some poses for wand-dueling...
And we learned how to emerge from Newt Scamander's briefcase.
Tommy got comfy in Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs...
And Kat peeked out to see if the coast was clear and no Dursleys were around.

The sorting hat! Tommy is always a Slytherin, even though he won't admit it.
Kat is always a Hufflepuff, until today when she was a Slytherin too! She was not pleased. Mom is always a Gryffindor, and Dad is the wild card. This time he was a Hufflepuff!
We potted some Mandrakes...
And then moved on to the DC Superheroes exhibit. Kat really is Wonder Woman!
And Tommy makes a pretty good Aquaman.
