Tide Pools at Dog Beach

Dog Beach was so cool on our last visit! The tide was out but there were still broad stretches of sand between some shallow pools and the ocean. It may be called "tidal flats", but we'd never seen it before there. The water in the standing pools was pretty warm, and all the dogs (and our son) had so much fun exploring in it!

Here you can see them running in the shallows, then a stretch of sand, then ocean waves. So strange, but so fun!
