We were so ready for our big crazy Costa Rice adventure with 19 people living in one house! Plane ride went well...
Parents are ready to start vacation! We landed in Liberia and spent the night at the airport hotel, then left in the morning on a 2.5 hr shuttle ride to Nosara on the coast.
We stayed at a huge place called Karma Nosara. Check out this pool and view!
The house was amazing, and we settled right in.

And if you didn't want to be in the pool, you could take it all in on this swing.
But we were in the pool A LOT!
We were even in the pool in the rain. A lot.
The best place to watch the wildlife was from the pool.
We saw these howler monkeys in the trees right off the balcony!
You can see them here jumping between trees (one of them with a baby on her back!) and vocalizing.
And this iguana liked to sun himself on the top of the trees, and was there almost every day. We named him Maurice.
The bugs were HUGE!
We even saw baby monkeys - see the one on the mom's back?
This coatimundi was in the yard out in front of the house one morning.
And these girls even got woken up one night by monkeys dropping mangos on the roof above their room.

19 people made for a lot of shoes outside.
And we spent a lot of time at this outdoor table eating, playing games, and watching storms roll through.
Dominoes, Mantis, Uno, Moose Master, Family Fued, you name it, we played it!
Tommy and Robby made burgers the first night.
Yahtzee for the win!
And a little downtime/screentime after a long day.
The living room was also good for dance parties
And the balcony was great for pictures...

And for making monkey noises to fool Sue one morning until she looked up at the kids. Stinkers!
