Auntie Sarah Strikes Again

We got another package from Auntie Sarah yesterday. Tommy said, "Auntie Sarah, that prankster!" as we were opening it.
Tommy instantly claimed the creature as his own, though Chewy was very interested too.
Mom cracked up. She loves it.
 It made friends with Godzilla...
 And with Katherine too...
Even though she made fun of its silly hairy butt.
We surprised Daddy with it when he got home.
Tommy named it Watchuka Master (after a creature in the old 80's Godzilla cartoon), decorated it, and found it a place in his room. Thanks for the laughs, Auntie Sarah!

Pool Party

Our friend Kate had a pool party for her birthday. We love the pool!
We practiced cannonballs...
Bellyflops...
And general silliness.

Happy Birthday, Kate!

Legomaniacs

Summer means extra time to Lego! We told Mom we wanted to submit some creations to the Lego magazine, and here's what we sent in:
"The Freeze Attack" by Tommy
"My Own Harry Potter World" by Katherine

Legomaniacs!

Boomers

We went to Boomers with Mom's friend Danielle, her kids, and her niece and nephews. The frog hopper was super fun...

Even if you went by yourself.
But it's definitely more fun when you have someone to goon around with.
I made my first attempt at rock climbing...
And did really well!
I didn't quite make it to the top, but it was a very successful first try.
We also had our first laser tag experience. We LOVED it!  Tommy said the vest made him feel like a Ghostbuster.
And I took my role very seriously. Check out my tough kid face in the background. No prisoners!!!

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July. Nana came and we baked some patriotic cookies...
The neighbors made sno cones...

We decorated Chewy and our bikes...
And rode in the neighborhood bike parade.

Later we lit off our own fireworks and watched some of the neighbors' too.  Happy 4th!

Fireworks Show

At night the brewery had prime seats for the Oceanside 3rd of July fireworks show.
It was fun to watch them with our friends Kara,
Carmela and Lizzy,
And Robby.
Here are some fun fireworks shots Mom got. It was a great show!

Midnight Jack Brewery Opening

Auntie Kimmy and Uncle Andy are investors in a new brewery, and they had a fun kid-friendly grand opening on the 3rd.  There was a bounce house, games, and face painting. This nice volunteer offered to make me into Slimer from Ghostbusters.
Not bad, right?
We had fun playing with friends and goofing around with Mom and Dad.

Kara and I had a snack...
And shared a few secrets and giggles.
