Earrings and Sumo Wrestling

I went with my friend Kayla to give her moral support while she got her ears pierced.
I may have gotten some ice cream too.
Meanwhile, Tommy had his friend Cole sleep over. He showed him how to stuff a pillow in your onesie.
Sumo wrestling: GO!
After all that wrestling they needed a TV break, but refused to take their pillows out. Mom thought they looked like ticks about to burst.

Homemade Pasta

In addition to bread making, Dad decided to make handmade spaghetti on Sunday.
Pretty impressive technique, Dad!
While the pasta dough was sitting Tommy entertained us with a big pillow tummy in his onesie jammies.
Then Dad rolled out the dough...
And Mom helped cut it up.
She made a prosciutto cream sauce for it that even I liked. Homemade pasta is yummy!

Making Macarons

I cashed in my Christmas coupon for a baking class last weekend, and took Dad with me to learn to make macarons. The class started with a full lesson on how to make them, and we got to eat a little pasta while listening.
Then we made the filling. I was in charge of the chocolate ganache.
After we baked the cookies, we spread on the filling...
Not as carefully as I would have liked sometimes.
But they turned out pretty, and tasted great!

We brought some home for Mom and Tommy, and they agreed they were super yummy.
That night we went out to dinner.
We played some Joking Hazard (with Mom and Dad sorting out the naughty cards first). This one was Tommy's favorite:
They can't take us anywhere!

Cookies and Contraptions

My newest baking adventure was pinata cookies, which pour out sprinkles when you bite into them. They were yummy! Tommy's newest invention was a contraption he made from Goldie Blocks for the school science fair. He was tasked to make a working model that moved water from a flooded area to another area. He came up with the idea and built the whole thing on his own. Pretty impressive!

Tommy had fun showing off his contraption at the school science fair and open house.
He also showed us a marble run he built...
And the cool stuff his friends made too.
Redford, Tommy, Ryan, Ollie, and Evelyn
Good job, Tom Tom Frog!

PARKour

We took a family walk to the park today, did some spinning, and watched Tommy turn the place into his own American Ninja Warrior course.

Pirates Dinner Adventure Show

We went to the Pirates Dinner Adventure Show with the Dorfmans last weekend.
We all sat together to cheer for the purple pirate.
The adults may have gotten a little more into it than we did.
Mom is so embarrassing!

OK, maybe Tommy's a little embarrassing too.
But we had fun watching the show and giggling with our buddies.

Ahoy, mateys!

Valentine's Day 2020

Happy Valentine's Day!
Mom packed us a little love in our lunches...
And stopped by Tommy's class for the Valentine's brunch.

After school I had 3D Printing club, so Cole and Tommy did some tree climbing at the park.
We had some of our favorite dishes for dinner, and Mom and Dad rounded out the evening with drinks watching Deadpool.
 Romance!

1st School Dance

I went to my first school dance on Wednesday after school. I prepped in the locker room with my friends Ava, Sarina, Tiana, and Kayla...
And spent most of the dance goofing off with Sarah, Kayla...
And Tess.
Not a ton of dancing, but still lots of fun!
First dance was a success!
No dance for Tommy, but he did look dapper in his hat for hat day at school.
