Red River Zoo

We did some climbing around and animal-spotting at the Red River Zoo in Fargo.
We fed the goats too! Mom said this goat is the stuff nightmares are made of.
We played around in this....farm machine? We still have no idea what it's called or exactly what it's for.
This old tree was carved into a representation of all the zoo animals.
We LOVED the red pandas!
So fuzzy and cute!
And the baby prairie dogs!
This one even came over to say hello!
The gray wolves came pretty close to us...
And the armadillo taking a nap on his back cracked us up. We sent a picture of it to Dad...
He sent us these pictures and said he had two pseudo-armadillos of his own at home.

West Fargo Pool

The West Fargo public pool is WAY cooler than Mom remembers it!
Water slides? Yes, please!

Fargo Tourists, June 2018

We stayed in Fargo for the last part of our vacation. Here's a massive plush buffalo we found at the mall and failed to convince Mom to buy.
We stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's place there, and they have a room in the basement with no windows or furniture. Mom threatened to lock us in there when we were naughty.
Nooooo!
We did some site-seeing downtown at the Art Alley...

And requested another visit to Scheels to ride the ferris wheel...

And pretend we went fishing.
We even saw a movie at the historic Fargo theater!
Tommy liked the velvet benches...
And we both liked the old organ. Another refurbished old one is still on the stage!
Here's Marge from the movie "Fargo" made entirely of wood chips...
And a mini replica of the theater for our stuffed buddies to enjoy.

25th Reunion

Mom went to her 25th high school reunion while we stayed with Grandma and Grandpa at the lake. She said she had too much fun!

Lakes 2018

We went to see Grandma and Grandpa in Detroit Lakes last week. We played a little croquet...
Grandpa won first, then I won!
We had lots of good snuggle time with Grandma...
And of course some good lake time.

We played at the park...
Played on the inflatables at the Water Carnival. Here's sibling rivalry at its best...
And here's us stuck to the velcro wall.
We had sno-cones...
And hiked Detroit Mountain.
We took our first chair lift ride up to the top after we hiked it.

Later we went on the paddle boat to cool off.

See those loons in the distance? It's a mom and big baby/teenager. We got even closer and Katherine talked to them a bit. See the video at the bottom.
We also completed a DL rite of passage by jumping off the Long Bridge. The video is a little grainy, but you get the picture. And you of course hear me say, "Let's do it again!" at the end. So we did. Three more time. :)
Thanks for all the fun, Grandma and Grandpa! We love you!
Here we are dueling gladiator style, talking to the loons, jumping off the Long Bridge, and watching lightning from the plane on the way home.
