Universal Studios with Dad

We had to get Dad to Universal Studios before our passes expired! So we went on Saturday. Mom stayed home to take care of Chewy, who was having a hard time getting up on his own.
Dad just finished the 4th Harry Potter book, so he was excited to go!
And we were excited to show him around Hogsmeade...
And Hogwarts castle..
And all the fun rides! We were stoked to be in the front on Flight of the Hippogriff.
And this picture of us with Hogsmeade in front of us is pretty cool.

We ventured out of Harry Potter World to check out the rest of the park. Tommy and Dad were excited to go on Jurassic World. Me, not so much.
We ended up getting super wet! But Tommy liked it anyway.
Chicken thumbs from Cletus' Chicken Shack in Simpsons Land for lunch...
And Krusty burgers!
I spent my money on a carnival game outside the minions ride...
And won this cute hamster! We had an awesome day, thanks Dad!

Dad's Holiday Work Party 2019

Mom and Dad got all fancy and went to his holiday work party last weekend.
They had fun without us, and we had fun with the sitter. And we knew they'd bring us back something fun from the white elephant gift exchange.
This time it was Socker Boppers!
Ready, fight!
After all that brawling we had some well-earned snuggle time.

Santa 2019

I asked Santa for a gift certificate for an escape room, and Tommy asked for Plants vs Zombies plush toys. By the look on Santa's face, he's not sure if we've been naughty or nice.

School Holiday Festivities

The last week of school before holiday break was filled with dress up days. Crazy hat day...
Ugly sweater day for me, and pajama day for Tommy.
His whole class got in on the action!
Goofballs.

Chewy at Sunset

Our sweet 14-year-old Chewy boy on a sunset walk.

Kat's Creations

Kat's painting from art class...
And the melted snowman cookies she made for Scouts' Court of Honor. So cute!

Tommy's Holiday Piano Recital

Tommy did a great job playing Holly Jolly Christmas at his piano recital! Ms. Leah taught him well.

Tanaka Farms Holiday Tractor Ride

We met Auntie Misty and her niece Khloe to go on the holiday tractor ride at Tanaka Farms. Part of the tour involved getting to sample the fresh vegetables. You can imagine how much we loved this. Celery...yum?
Carrots? Ugh.

And lettuce? Mom's obviously trying to kill us.
The tractor stopped up in a "winter wonderland" for us to take some pictures (nice face, Tommy)...
And talk to Santa! Tommy wants Plants vs. Zombies plush toys, but he wrote a specific list of which ones for our elf Happy to give to Santa. Santa said he knew Happy, and described him to a T! "About this tall? Red hat? That guy's great!" Well played, Santa.

I wasn't sure what to ask Santa for yet, but I played along.
And so did Mom.
They also had "snow" (ok, bubbles) in the corn field.
Perfect for sibling rivalry!

Then we took the tractor back to the farm...
And got to pet the chickens. We love chickens!
And the goats were very sweet too.

This one gave me kisses, then sucked on my finger, then started nibbling, which I wasn't really up for.
One of the workers found a baby mouse and kept it in her pocket.
So cute!
A fun day at the farm!
