Geochaching

Our new family fun activity is geocaching.  It's like a real life treasure hunt, where people hide containers all over the world, and give you hints about them.  Then you use your phone as a GPS device to find where they're hidden.  You don't need to wear goofy glasses, but it helps.

This was our first successful find!  We traded a cool eraser, pencil, and sticker sheet...

And got this cute pumpkin girl doll and a golf ball!
We saw Nana at the park, and Tommy found this tricky one.  See the little container on the bottom of the rock?

Then yesterday we found this one, that looks like an electrical box on a lamppost in an office park.

So fun!  I love hunting for treasure!
