We had the day off for parent/teacher conferences and decided to hit the pumpkin patch at Tanaka Farms.
We went through the corn and sunflower maze...
And took a tractor ride around the property.
But our favorite part was definitely the petting zoo. We got to pet sheep and goats...
This one even leaned into the scratches I gave it, just like Chewy does.
Mom and I loved the baby cows...
They were so sweet!
And even gave us kisses!
And Tommy LOVED the chickens.
He called this one Fluffy...
But this one, Squawky, was our favorite. She would make this little low, rumbling noise whenever you pet her.
You can hear for yourself, and hear us cracking up every time.
Once we got home, we took the neighbors out to Yogurtland with my gift card from my birthday. Not a bad day off!
