Mother's Day 2021

We had a very nice Mother's Day! Tommy gave Mom this letter, little succulent plant, and drawing of them snuggling, Kat painted a picture, and everyone gave Mom a new blender so she doesn't have to swear when she uses the old one.
We also cracked open our new Adventure Challenge book. It has little mystery adventures you scratch off, and whatever it is you HAVE TO do it. Ours said to research some goofy Guinness World Records and try to break them. Our first challenge: How many saltines you can eat in 1 minute (with no water). 10 was the world record. Dad made it to 5, and was the winner.

We also stacked Lego towers with one hand, saw who could type the alphabet fastest on a smartphone, and timed who could keep 2 balloons in the air the longest using only their head.

No records were broken, but much fun was had.
We also figured out that Gizmo hates balloons:
Afterward Dad baked some yummy bread, and we had our own little charcuterie board while we watched The Three Amigos, and then had a yummy cheesecake Kat baked for dessert. Mom says she's lucky to have us. We agree.
