We got all dressed up for our spring piano recital this week. Tommy was super excited to wear his new tie. No, really!
It was only Tommy's second recital, but he did a great job! At the end he decided to make a little fun with his bow, but it may have gone a little further than he hoped. He was fine, don't worry.
I did well on my super tough song, Sonatina in C Major by Clementi
And I won a medal! My teacher gives us points every week for how much we practice and if we complete our theory correctly. If you get over 100 points for the year, you get a pin. If you're in the top 3 you get a medal! I got 3rd place, behind 2 high schoolers. I was so happy! And Mom and Dad were very proud.
