Once we got back from New York we only had a week and half left of summer! Tommy decided to buy a stuffed Hobbes to help him live out his Calvin & Hobbes dreams.
They built lots of cardboard machines together. One was a time machine. After he and Hobbes had gone in he told Mom, "I just came back from the future, and I gotta say, I look preeettty good as a teenager."
They went on adventures...
Played games and had good, mischievous fun.
We missed our Chewy, so we made sure to give him lots of pats and take him on trips to the park.
I went to middle school orientation with my friend/neighbor Kayla...
And we of course had some beach time.
We had a great body boarding day in Corona del Mar with some friends.
And even checked out the Civil War Reenactment in Central Park.
But Mom says it's definitely time for school to start. There's only so much gooning around she can take.
