Mom scheduled a tour of our local fire station for my friends and me.
Here I am with Isabella, ready to volunteer!
We got to see their dorms, and were all amazed by the murphy bed that folded out of the wall.
We also saw their relaxing TV room. They said they can barely ever get a seat in there because the cops are always coming over and using it.
Comfy!
We got to see the fire engine in the garage...
And even got to sit in it!
Zach showed us how the EKG machine worked.
And even hooked me up to it! He said I had a strong heart beat, and I even got a print-out of my heart rhythm, looking like a bumpy line.
He also showed us the oxygen tanks they wear...
And let us try on his coat...
And boots!
This fire station is also equipped for hazardous materials handling. All of us kept shaking the hands of this haz-mat suit.
We also got to see the inside of the fire ambulance.
I'm so glad my friends got to come with! On the left is my friend Sophia from school and her brother Travis, that's Tommy in the middle, and Isabella and me on the right.
Here Ilana joined the picture, but no one could really get their act together except for Sophia.
Thanks, Brian and Zach! We had a great time on our fire station tour! And so did our mommies! :)
