Fireworks!

We grilled some hot dogs and had a nice dinner outside on the 4th...

Then it was time to light off some FIREWORKS!

Chewy gets very nervous about fireworks, and howls and tries to attack them (poor poodle!), so he had to wait in the house.

Wow!

After the second one, Tommy decided he'd feel safer sitting in the back of the car with the window open.  I'm a supportive sister, so I joined him. 

Later, we walked to the park to see if we could see the city fireworks show from there.  We couldn't, but we still saw plenty of the neighbor's fireworks, which were pretty impressive!  Mom said this was a pretty snuggly and excellent way to watch fireworks....

Except for the drooling puppy standing above her.
