Weekend Entertainment

Between my cough, Tommy's fever, and Mom's yucky lake itch all over her legs, we were pretty much confined to the house this weekend.  This meant Mom had to pull out all the stops to entertain us.  We did some crafts...

I made some peel and stick decals for the windows, and then decorated a new jewelry box for my shell and rock collections.
We, of course, had play doh and Lego time.

Then Mom got a little creative, and we blew bubbles through straws on paper plates.  Pretty impressive, eh?

We also drew with sidewalk chalk outside.  I wrote all our names all on my own, and then Tommy and I raced on the racetrack Mom made.

This quickly digressed into us stripping down and drawing all over each other in chalk.

Look at Tommy's back.  It's more of a canary yellow than scarlet letter, but still it works.

Mom drew his teddy's head on his stomach, and he was very proud and made lots of grrr! grrr!  growling sounds.

I colored my nose blue and drew a heart on my tummy.

Next Mom pulled out the Wii Rock Band equipment.  I'm an awesome drummer!

Look out world...

I think we're all healed and ready to ROCK!
